Hijikata-san♥ I prepared a nice meal for you today~ Make sure to eat up!

[ooc; Souji's snuck some food off the table and is rearranging it slightly so that Hijikata tries it - namely the turkey, stuffing and a few desserts. He knows Hijikata probably won't eat the desserts, but that means Okita gets them. \o/ Yay for sweet potatoes and pecan pie!]

I never thought I'd be so glad to see the green sky again.

Hijikata-san~ I'm going out to play~ Oh! And don't trip over the fuschia turtle statues. It took me a long time to drag those back home.

Anyone want to go to the beach? I haven't been since the old Sieben sank into the giant hole thing. Come on~ Let's go~

This constant darkness is a little...unsettling to say the least. The creatures in the forest are getting bolder what with there being no daylight to hinder their hunting.

Be careful everyone.

Well...that was certainly unpleasant. It seems like there weren't too many problems though. At least, I hope? Is everyone alright?

[A long sigh and the sound of a bone popping, as if he's rolling his shoulders.]

Time to get back to work then, I suppose. If anyone is looking to continue their swordsmanship training, I'm thinking of starting an early morning session before Hijikata-san wakes up. Say about one hour after sunrise?

The forest is still rather dangerous, too. Please exercise caution when venturing in there. The way is more dense than before, and quite a bit more difficult. That said, Hijikata-san? Ayumu-san? I'm heading in there to pick up supplies from the few areas I found before. Do you need anything?

I'm still unable to find any sort of weapons tree, I'm afraid. Has anyone else found one? Ayumu-san is in need of knives for her new kitchen.

Everyone? How are you doing? Any casualties to note? They're relatively slow, so other than the smell, things aren't too bad, hm? I hope so, at least.

Please refrain from drawing near the forest - it seems to bring more of them out at night if you venture there during the day♥ Also...well, just be careful, hm? There's something else in there.

[Okita is poking around the edges of the forest. He'll dart into the treeline, then pop out somewhere else, double back and do it again in a different direction. It seems like he's searching for something.

After a moment, he turns to look at the computer, waves, and then climbs up the nearest tree and disappears. A few leaves drift down and there's a loud WHUMP from somewhere deeper in the forest. Followed by laughter.]

There isn't much of this place left - if you're still over here somewhere, I suggest moving to the other island now. Most of this place is gone now.

If anyone is missing, I'm afraid you must assume they either went ahead and are somewhere on the island; or they have fallen into the hole. There's only the beach left and even then, not much of that.

I'm on my way over now.

Has everyone made it across? I'm watching for stragglers, but if you don't leave soon, the hole is going to swallow this entire place.

( Status of the Residents )

[Okita comes out of the forest, bloodied, and carrying Katsura's body. There's a conspicuous bundle tied to his obi, which is also red with blood. And in his hands, he has the container Raine left at the hole. He seems tired and is covered in ash, but continues pushing forward to the beach.]

Kazuki-san. I need an update on who remains missing.

Those who are not at the beach, but taking refuge elsewhere, please let us know your status.

[He seems like he's about to say something, but stops and moves off past the computer, disappearing off-screen.]

[He's closing in on Takasugi's location, his sword drawn as he runs.]

Takasugi - prepare yourself. Your death is imminent.

[the sound of the fire is extremely close, blocking out some of his words; and at times his coughing is bad enough that he's difficult to understand]

Tetsu-kun, ----san is coming to get you. Take Pop--chan and head to--- --ach.

Gintoki-san. Thank you for taking care of Tyke. I'll be back shortly in order to retrieve him.

And I'm sorry, but I wasn't able to find your milk for you. I'm afraid, I was busy for the majority of the day and was unable to forage as much as I would have liked.

[The camera turns on to a blur of blue fur blocking all view of anything else.]

Tyke, don't sit on that. You're going to break it.

[The fox moves off, several keys clacking as he does so and comes to sit on Okita's lap. Okita is sitting at the beach, near the edge of the water, staring up at the sky. For a long time he's quiet and then he sighs, standing and sending Tyke running off into the distance. He puts his hands behind his back and turns away from the camera, slowly walking after his pet.]

I wonder where they all went...

[Souji's leaning on a bar (hidden downstairs somewhere in a back room), chewing on a straw, chin in hand. Jazz plays in the background]

Mm.... I wonder when the next shipment is coming in...

It's so boring here without anyone to entertain.

It is certainly nice to see the open plains again. I never thought I'd get tired of seeing trees.

Raine-san, thank you for your hard work. I am sorry for the burden it placed upon you, and if there is anything I may do to make it up to you, please let me know.

Neku-kun, thank you for taking care of Tyke. I hope he wasn't a handful.
